Prima Ballerina

I must say I am a proud mom! Logan had her first ballet recital yesterday and she did great. She was all smiles on stage and was just adorable in her tutu. Thank GOD for little girls :-)

Finley's Birthday Party

What a great day- filled with family, friends and even some animals! My father had pony rides for his second birthday so my parents wanted to share the tradition with Finley and gave him pony rides for his birthday gift. They also offered a petting zoo, so mommy HAD to have that as well. Happy Birthday Finley!! You are a lucky little boy- so many people love you! I must say the kids seemed to enjoy it. Thanks Mom and Dad for making his birthday so memorable!

Strasburg, Pennsylvania

So I am really behind on my blogging- it just boils down to one thing- I take too many pictures! I can't narrow them down so I just forget the whole thing. But I want to share some special times with you all and this trip was SO much fun. My mom, sister and I took the kids to Strasburg for the weekend a few weeks ago. It was beautiful- just amazing scenery. We met up with my friend Sarah and her family and went to Dutch Wonderland. It was a great park for little kids- perfect for us. The weather was gorgeous as well. Lets just say all the cards aligned! Finley got to enjoy his first ice cream cone- if Daddy was there, this would never have happened. Chris can't stand messes but I say- let a kid be a kid. (Of course the photo op is hard to turn down too :-) )

The next day we ventured into Amish country and took a buggy ride. We closed out the trip with a ride on the Strasburg railroad in the open car.

I highly recommend this weekend getaway.

From a tiny little infant to a growing little boy, you light up the room around you with your huge smile and infectious spirit. You delight in everything and are such fun to be around. Mommy can't believe you are 2 already. Where does time go?
