Pa's Retirement Party

Well Pa finally retired! Not really, as he still works as a consultant one day a week :-) Tough life,huh? We felt it was a reason to celebrate and were thrilled that everyone could join us. Good food (www.dctaste.com) , great friends and beautiful weather. What could be better? Here are some pics of the evening.

DC Tourists

We had a bunch of family in town for my father in law's retirement party. This gave us the opportunity to show them some of the beautiful nations capital. We started out with the National Zoo and ended up at the Lincoln Memorial and Vietnam Wall. We had amazing weather and it was so much fun getting to be a tourist- we never do that stuff without a reason to. So sad! Make sure you click on a picture if you want to see it larger!

Happy Easter

We had a gorgeous day here in NOVA with sunshine everywhere. Our day was filled with 3 F's- family, food and fun! After waking up and seeing what the easter bunny left we headed to church and then to Pa's house for lots of activities. Here are a few pics of us from the day.

A Toast to Caroline

Caroline celebrates her birthday today and I am sad I cannot be there with her to celebrate. I will say in some ways this has to be her best birthday yet since it is her first as a mother. Thank God for Mailee because John is on travel working so she needs someone to celebrate with! The girls got together last night and Meredith suggested us toasting to Caroline and wishing her a Happy Birthday- so here it is. We love you Caroline!

A Visit With The Easter Bunny

Dress Up and Baby Dolls

Logan is all about this these days. She wakes up and immediately has to change into her princess attire. She also has to put her dolls to bed everynight. Its a little freaky how she lines them all up but each kid has their quirks, right? She is so much fun. I love having a little girl!

Choo Choo Crazy

Finley is really changing alot these days. He is getting taller every day which also makes him skinnier as well!! I try to feed him, I swear! His language is EXPLODING and he amazes me every night because he has so many new words each day. But what is really funny is how OBSESSED he is with trains right now. I love it! He has to watch Thomas first thing in the morning, carry around a bucket of trains and line up as many as possible when he can. I love my little man!

All Smiles

These days are exciting. I can have conversations with my newest addition and boy does he love his mommy. I will treasure these days as I won't always be the only woman in his life! Look at these smiles. Had to share.
