Fletcher's surgery

Some of you may know my littlest man has a heart condition and he recently had surgery to correct it. As you can imagine, it was incredibly stressful but I tried to make it as fun as I could. It was like a little "fieldtrip". In the end, Fairfax Hospital Cardiovascular Institute was AMAZING. They made it so much easier than I ever imagined. Little Fletch came through with flying colors and we all thank God for taking care of him. So of course I documented the day as it was his biggest day yet!

Massachusetts- Labor Day 2009

Most of you know I have a wonderful Father in Law who is very good to our family. We started a tradition a few years ago and we head north with him for Labor Day weekend. Chris' parents were both from a town south of Boston- so both sides of the family are close by. My FIL's sister has a great party every year to close out the summer. It is SO MUCH FUN. This year we also had a big campfire on the beach the following evening. We took advantage of Boston this time and did some touristy things as well. Thanks Pa for another fantastic trip.

Logan's Birthday Party

How lucky am I to have a best friend from high school who also has a daughter the same age as Logan? So we thought it would be fun to have a mutual birthday bash at Gymboree. The girls are really into princess things and therefore we had a princess theme. Sarah and I worked tirelessly to create the perfect castle cake for them as well! The party was so much fun. Here are some pics of the princesses. . .

My Baby is 4!

Does it seem possible that my first baby is 4? Not quite! Its just amazing how much and how quickly Logan has grown. For this post, I decided to chronicle her birthdays and the next post will share some of her birthday activities. Happy Birthday Logan Amelia! You are and always will be my little angel. . .

THANK YOU AUNTIE JAN

Anyone who knows me knows just how much I love bows. Little girls should be little girls. Dresses, jewelry and a matching bow sounds perfect to me!! Someone else very special to us realized this and sent Logan an entire box of bows and even a few pair of matching socks which she made herself! I thought I had died and gone to heaven. And Logan was quite excited as well! We've gotten alot of use out of them already- here are a few pics of some of the amazing bows! Thanks again Auntie Jan- We love you!

UPDATE!!

So no big event to post although we have been really busy!! Summer days include time at the pool (Logan can swim now!), boating on the potomac and playing in the sprinklers in our front yard. . . Just wanted to post some everyday pics from the Condon Crew! Fletcher is sitting up and eating cereal these days, Finley will not stop talking and Logan turns 4 next week and starts preschool next month! Where does the time go?

Myrtle Beach

So I am obviously way behind on my blogging but I do have so much to share with everyone. The Condons have just been so busy! I am overwhelmed by my picture taking and find it hard to narrow down :-) The beach was a little interesting this year- Logan and Finley got strep throat, we had a few stroller accidents and my uncle passed away. But we still managed to have a good time and we survived the car ride home.
